On 29 October 2025, AGRO-WELL participated in an AR/XR Safety Workshop hosted by our sister project AgRibot, together with AgRimate.

The workshop provided a platform for knowledge exchange on the safe integration of Augmented Reality (AR) and Extended Reality (XR) technologies in agricultural environments.

Our partner Christos Stentoumis from up2metric presented AGRO-WELL's ongoing work, focusing on risk assessment, emergency procedures and the implications of EU regulatory frameworks such as the AI Act, the Data Governance Act, and the Cyber Resilience Act on the development and deployment of AR/XR tools in farming.

The collaboration between AGRO-WELL, AgRibot, and AgRimate represents a significant step toward establishing a shared AR/XR Safety Framework. This framework aims to ensure that innovation in smart farming progresses alongside safety, regulatory compliance, and the well-being of agricultural workers.

Through such joint initiatives, AGRO-WELL continues to promote safe, sustainable, and technology-driven solutions that enhance farm operations across Europe!
