AGRO-WELL is a five-year Horizon Europe project led by the Technical University of Munich. It explores how robotics, AI and augmented reality can reduce workload, risks and costs, supporting safer, smarter and more sustainable farming. The project develops tools and knowledge to ease digital transitions and improve farmers’ well-being. (A detailed overview is available in the attached leaflet).

Within the AGROWELL project we are advancing five core technologies

  1. Smart Traps to reduce workload and improve pest management in orchards.

2.     Autonomous Mobile Robot for disease recognition, spot spaying and pruning in greenhouses.

3.     Vitality Tracker for enhanced awareness and monitoring of pigs’ health status, behaviour and growth.

4.     AIReact, an AI decision support system for arable farming, optimised by vision and sensors.

5.     Augmented Reality (AR) App, to support the technologies mentioned above.
