Earlier this month, the AGRO-WELL consortium convened in the historic city of Ohrid, North Macedonia, for its first plenary meeting, hosted by the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje!

The two-day meeting, held on October 7–8, brought together partners from across Europe to review progress across all eight work packages and discuss strategies to advance the project’s vision of safer, more sustainable and technology-enabled farming.

During the sessions, partners engaged in in-depth discussions on implementing robotics, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence solutions to enhance farm safety, operational efficiency, and the well-being of agricultural workers. The plenary meeting provided a collaborative platform to align activities, share insights, and strengthen partnerships across the consortium.

The timing of the meeting coincided with the 5th International Symposium for Agriculture and Food (ISAF 2025), offering an additional opportunity for AGRO-WELL partners to exchange knowledge with the wider scientific community and showcase project developments.

The consortium extends its thanks to the hosts, Dushica Santa and Ivana Janeska Stamenkovska, from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, as well as all participating partners, including our project coordinator Dr. Fabian Frick, from the Technical University of Munich, for their dedication and collaborative effort in shaping the future of smart farming in Europe!
